Bio

I've been so fortunate to have had such amazing experiences as a performer.

I grew up in Kentucky to a very musical family. Dad plays the guitar, Mom plays the piano, my brothers and I play the violin, and we all sing - kind of like The Partridge Family but way cooler.

I studied Acting at the University of Evansville - an incredibly rich program that John David Lutz built in a small city in Southern Indiana. I met my wife there - Ashley Wickett Lane - an amazing professional actor. 

After graduation, Ashley and I were both accepted into the MFA program at the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) in San Francisco. Those three years were insanely rich - being taught by the professional artists in A.C.T.'s company of actors and directors, masterclasses with Olympia Dukakis & Frances McDormand, honing my craft in the company of greatness. At A.C.T., I performed with legends like Bill Irwin, Judy Kaye, and Betsy Wolfe - all to a 1,000-seat house eight times a week.

After Grad school, Ashley and I moved to NYC, got agents, and auditioned our butts off. I booked a few things in NYC - a 9-month tour and Off-Broadway stint with The Acting Company, All My Children, and a few things here and there. NYC wasn't our place so, after a few years there, we moved to Chicago and loved it. I booked work at the Marriott Theatre, Chicago Shakes, and did a couple episodes for Chicago Fire & Chicago PD. 

We loved Chicago, really enjoyed being back in the midwest, and moved back to Bloomfield Hills, MI right after we had our first kiddo. Two beautiful kids now, a balanced career in the corporate world & performing as I'm able. Life is good!
